There is a needle in Zane’s arm.
Or, there was or will be. His physical is happening right now, and that is the last big thing of our Home Study.
We just need to make sure our “I”s are dotted and our “T”s are crossed.
Autobiographies, birth certificates, financial forms, and so.much.more.paperwork – check.
And you know what? It has been nice. While parts of it were overwhelming at times, because I went about this differently than our first adoption journey (read here), it seems less of a “whew, glad that is finally over” thing, and more of a “this has been a semi-peaceful walk” thing.
I hope Zane can agree. But we will give him time to finish getting poked and prodded first.
